                                        Dear fellow jet enthusiasts,
It has recently been announced officially that there will be no more “JetPower Fairs” at the Bengener Heide in Bad Neuenahr, but we are delighted to be able to inform you that a new home has already been found for the event!
In a very short time we have managed to assemble a new, experienced organising team which will hold the next Fair over the usual weekend: 14. – 16.09.2018.
A new location – and one which has been thoroughly tested – has already been found and booked: the Genderkingen airfield. This is the site where the Horizon Airmeet has been held for the last ten years, and anyone who has attended this major event will already be familiar with the site and the superb facilities which it has to offer: any amount of space for exhibitors’ marquees, ample parking and catering space, and an 800 m long tarmac runway and taxiway providing an outstanding environment for model jet flying.
A further advantage is the airfield’s excellent transport links from all directions: the B2, B16 and B25 converge at Donauwörth, and two large commercial airfields – Munich and Nuremberg – are situated within a radius of 100 km. The nearby town of Donauwörth offers a wide range of overnight accommodation.
In the near future we will publish further information on this website, and we shall soon be writing to all exhibitors who attended the 2017 JetPower Fair. We are in the process of setting up a newsletter system and a Facebook account which will keep you abreast of all developments.
The JetPower Fair has become vitally important to jet pilots and exhibitors alike, and we hope you are all as pleased as we are that it is to continue in a new and brilliant form!
